Alarm severity does not change for AR_MXP, AR_XP, and AR_XPE cards under the following conditions:

• When a card-level alarm profile is applied using the GFP payload

• When a node-level alarm profile is applied using the GE payload

In node view (single-shelf mode) or shelf view (multishelf mode), click the Provisioning > Alarm Profiles > Alarm
Behavior tab.

To apply profiles to a card:

a) Click a selection from the Profile column for the card.
b) Choose the new profile from the drop-down list.
c) Click Apply.

To apply the profile to an entire node:

a) Click the Force All Ports to Profile drop-down arrow at the bottom of the window.
b) Choose the new alarm profile from the drop-down list.
