SAP ABAP Adapter

The Cisco Process Orchestrator SAP ABAP Adapter supports task automation and problem resolution
in SAP ABAP environments. It also provides the ability to retrieve CCMS data, call remote-enabled
functions, and to simplify user administration in SAP.

Configuring an SAP ABAP Adapter
Archiving CCMS Alerts
You can specify whether to archive SAP CCMS alerts as reporting database events using the Options tab
on the SAP ABAP Adapter Properties dialog box.

Choose Administration > Adapters to display the installed adapters in the Adapters pane.

Double-click the SAP ABAP Adapter, or right-click and choose Properties.

Configuring Availability Monitoring
Use the Availability monitor tab on the SAP ABAP Adapter Properties dialog box to specify how often
the server where the adapter is installed should be contacted to monitor for availability, how many
attempts should be made before sending a notification, and the DNS suffix for the server.
