Reconfigure the Fabric
Reconfiguring a device on the fabric is easy. You simply change the mapping for the device and then publish the
updated mapping and reboot the device. Here are the specific steps:
Step 1. Edit the POAP definition for the device.
Step 2. Publish the updated settings. This action allows the system to update the switch.
Step 3. Click Reboot and Reload to update the device to match the new settings (Figure 31). The software image
and all template settings will be updated at this time. This is a disruptive change because the existing
device settings will be deleted and the device will be rebooted.

Important Note:
The “Reboot and Reload” button will cause a “write erase” and “reload” to occur on the
device. This action will delete all previous configuration.
