Creating a New Multi-Domain Manager Account
Cisco DFA Organization networks are not tied to any specific pod.
Note
Step 1
On the menu bar, choose Administration > Physical Account.
Step 2
Click the Multi-Domain Managers tab.
Step 3
Click (+) Add.
Step 4
In the Multi-Domain Manager Account dialog box, complete the following fields:
Description
Name
The multi-domain account name.
Account Name field
The description of the multi-domain.
Description field
The account type. Choose DFA to create an account for
use in Digital Fabric Automation networks. Choose PNSC
to create a Cisco Prime Network Services Controller
(PNSC) account.

Account Type field
The IP address of the DCNM server.
Server Address field
The administrator's user ID.
User ID field
The administrator's user password.
Password field
Choose a transport type:
• HTTP — Standard protocol.
• HTTPS — Standard and secure protocol. This is the
default selection for DFA Organization networks.
Transport Type drop-down list
The port number (based upon the transport type).
Port field
The email address of the administrator or person
responsible for this account.

Contact Email field
The location of the device associated with the account.
Location field
The selected segment ID pool.
