Use this procedure to delete the CableCARD module or M-Card from its associated 

host on the DNCS. 
Important! Only perform this procedure if you are removing the CableCARD 

module or M-Card from service indefinitely, or if you are correcting an incorrect ID 

for a CableCARD or M-Card or an incorrect MAC address. Otherwise, the Host 

Change Count information in the CableCARD Data Summary screen for a specific 

CableCARD or M-Card module will be lost.  
1  From the CableCARD Data Summary window, click the corresponding circle in 

the Select column to choose the CableCARD or M-Card module and host device 

that you want to delete. 

2  Click Delete Selected CableCARD. A confirmation window similar to the 

following opens. 

 

3  Click OK to delete the CableCARD or M-Card module and host pair, or click 

Cancel to cancel the request.  

4  If you are finished, click Exit All CableCARD Screens to close the CableCARD 

window.
