Cisco D9804 Multiple Transport 
Receiver Software Version 2.20 
Release Note 
Overview 
This document describes the new features, resolved issues, and limitations 
included in software version 2.20 for the Cisco
®
 D9804 Multiple Transport 
Receiver (MTR) since the previous version 1.18. 
Some configurations of the D9804 MTR support Deterministic Multiplexing (DM). 
However, the DM feature is not supported in this general release of the D9804 
MTR. Status and control items in the user interfaces that pertain to the DM feature 
does not affect operation of non-DM functions. 
 
 
New Features 
The following repairs, new features, and enhancements are included in MTR 
software version 2.20. 
1  Added support for Over-the-Air application download from the (optional) 
Inband Control Computer (IBCC), including trap messages to indicate 
successful and unsuccessful downloads. 
2  The following are changes to the web user interface: 
a  Summary page includes additional information to identify the D9804 MTR 
and the active configuration for each ASI port. 
b  Added a Flash Verification page to display the flash memory area 
checksums to support device comparisons. 
c  Added a page to display progress and status of an over-the-air application 
download. 
d  Modified the Versions page to include user controls for: 
– 
selecting the application version to be used after the next D9804 MTR 
reboot. 
– 
selecting the FPGA version to be used after the next D9804 MTR 
reboot. 
– 
rebooting the D9804 MTR. 
e  ASI output status pages show additional status information pertaining to 
deterministic remultiplexing. 
f  Added a page to set specific control parameters for remultiplexing time 
thresholds for alarm indication and duration of null stuffing, to replace 
corrupt or missing content.
