Step 5: Additional DSAN Configuration
You can configure the following DSAN 8210 parameters via the CLI or SNMP:
Configure the EIA output channels for EAS and for the auxiliary inputs.
Change the EAS priority threshold.
Enable or disable telnet and the craft port.
Changes to some parameters may require a reset to take effect. In the CLI, you will
see a message indicating that a system reset is necessary. In the SNMP, check
saDsanAdminUserConfigStatus to determine if a reset is required.

Important: Be sure that the EIA output channel associated with EAS is not used by
the auxiliary inputs. This could lead to important EAS messages unintentionally

Provision User Configurable Parameters
Use the following commands or MIB objects to modify user configurable parameters
via the CLI or SNMP. It is important to change the EIA output channel for EAS
immediately.

Use the eas outchan command to read or set the default EAS force tune output
channel. Use this command when the received SCTE-18 force tune details channel
information cannot be resolved to one of the currently provisioned 82 channels.

To disable use of the default EAS output channel, set to 0.
When not configured, the default factory setting is -1.
Note: The DSAN will remain in an alarm condition until this value is configured.
