Forward Path Balancing for Thermal Stations

Using Amplifier Only Compensation Mode

Before you begin, make sure that you have configured the amplifier module

according to the specifications in the design print, and that the amplifier has warmed

up for approximately one hour.

To Set Switch 1 for Amplifier Only Compensation Mode

You must set Switch 1 to position number 1 to use Amplifier Only Compensation

Mode.

To Determine the Output Tilt

Complete the following steps to determine the output tilt of the amplifier.
1 Connect the test point adapter to the forward main output test point.
