Note: When removing faulty OPM module, press and remove the blue LC connecter
before you can open the bale clasp.
To Connect the Long-haul Fiber
1. Insert the fiber-optic start-head to the optical adapter.
2. Route fiber on the fiber tray of GS7000 GainMaker Node.
3. Connect the fiber-optic end-head to the receive bore of the OPM module
1. Insert the fiber-optic start-head to the optical adapter.
2. Route fiber on the fiber tray of GS7000 GainMaker Node.
3. Connect the fiber-optic end-head to the receive bore of the OPM module
installed on the Receiver of the Prisma II platform.
4. The receiver OPM module requires LC connector, conversion maybe needed.
5. Clean the LC connector's fiber-optic end-faces.
