This section discusses the source settings for several different types of sources. 

 

Use the following fields when you manage multicast digital sessions through GQI-
based QAMs in the Application Server. 

Source ID 

Select the session ID this multicast will use. 

Session ID 

Displays the source ID of the session you are editing. 

Bandwidth 

(Mbps) 

The maximum amount of bandwidth (in Mbps) that the system should 

allow for this session. 

Valid range: From 0 to 38.8 Mbps. 

QAM Name 

Select the GQI-based QAM you are using for this multicast session. 

Ethernet Port 

Select the Ethernet port of the QAM you selected. 

Output Carrier 

Select the output carrier of the QAM. 

Program Number  The MPEG program number of the input. 

Valid range: From 0 to 65535. 

Source IP 
Address 1 

The IP address of the device sending content to the GQI-based QAM. 

Source IP 

Address 2 

The IP address of the second device sending content to the GQI-based 

QAM (if used). 

Source IP 
Address 3 

The IP address of the third device sending content to the GQI-based QAM 
(if used).
