Sending DHCT Configuration

A hub configuration lets you configure the operating parameters for all of the 

DHCTs within a specific hub. This is especially useful for configuring PPV barkers 

for different geographic areas. You can offer different local numbers for subscribers 

to call to order PPV events, based on the area where the subscriber lives. 
This section provides instructions to set up and send a configuration to all of the 

DHCTs in a single hub. 

Before you can send a configuration to all DHCTs in a hub, you must first specify the 

options that you will be able to set on a hub-specific basis. All DHCTs receive the 

global configuration. Hub-specific configurations override only those global items 

that you choose as hub-specific items. 
For example, if you want to set up a different unauthorized barker for each hub, you 

must specify the unauthorized barker as a hub-specific option. You will only be able 

to set options that you specify in this procedure.  
Follow these steps to select the options that you can set within a hub.

On the DNCS Administrative Console, select the Server Applications Tab.

Click DHCT Config. 
Result:  The DHCT Configure Prompt window appears.
