Naming Conventions
Some of the screens that appear during installation of the Alarm Manager 1.0
software use various names to refer to the Alarm Manager components. You may
sometimes see the Network Operations Center (NOC) Alarm Manager Server referred to
as the NOC EMS Server and the Site Alarm Manager Server referred to as the Site EMS
Server. The term EMS is synonymous with Alarm Manager.
