CAUTION: 
If your system currently has a V245 or V240 Application Server and you 
intend to continue operating a standalone Application Server, STOP.  You 
should be following the instructions in DVD Upgrade Installation Guide for 
System Release 5.0 with Standalone Application Server (part number 4042225). 

Important:  The Sun Blade150 and Ultra 5 Application Servers are not supported in an SR 5.0 
environment. The following section provides the procedure and sample output when 
executing the preUpgradeChecks script on the DNCS with either of these Application 
Servers. 

You have two choices. You can migrate to an integrated Application Server, or you 
must replace the Application Server with a supported platform (Sun Fire V240 or 
V245). The preUpgradeChecks scripts will complete with ERRORS if you answer 
“no” to the migration questions. This will cause the doLiveUpgrade script to fail. 
You will not be able to upgrade the system until the Application Server is replaced 
or you elect to migrate to an integrated Application Server. 
This section describes how to run an automated system check to determine if your 
system is acceptable for an SR 5.0 upgrade. If it is, you can continue with the 
upgrade; if it is not, you must correct any errors that are found and then rerun this 
procedure.
