Restarting the RNCS Processes on the DNCS/ISDS
If your DNCS/ISDS is licensed for the RNCS feature, then refer to the one of the
following to restart the RNCS processes, depending on your type of network:

Reboot the TED Server
After you have restarted all the system components, you must reboot the TED
server.
Complete this procedure for the primary, secondary and warm spare ISDS.

Rebooting the TED Server
1 Log on to the DNCS/ISDS as root user
2 Open an xterm window on the DNCS/ISDS.
3 Type ssh dncsted -l root and press Enter. A password prompt appears on the

Important: Wait at least 2 minutes for the TED server to reboot.
