Follow these instructions to use the -s option of the runCVT utility to assign a host or
hosts to the CVT download group.

1 If necessary, open an xterm window on the DNCS.
2 Type runCVT.ksh -s and then press Enter. The system displays a message that

3 Type y and then press Enter. The message updates to prompt you to type the ID
of the existing download group that you want to use.
4 Type the ID of the appropriate download group and then press Enter. The
message updates by prompting you to decide whether you want to delete any
existing DHCTs in the download group.
Note: Any deleted DHCTs will be placed on a fast refresh list to receive default
DHCT code.

5 Type y or n, whichever is appropriate, and then press Enter. The message
updates by prompting you to type the name of the text file that contains the
MAC addresses of the DHCTs that you want to add.Example:

6 Type the name of the text file and then press Enter. The message updates by
listing the MAC addresses of the DHCTs as they are added to the download
group.
