Introduction
The Network Configuration Discovery Service (NCDS) server
provides a storage location for channel map, service group, and VOD
information for your video system. The ncdsGen utility was
developed in order to provide a mechanism for synchronizing this
data between the NCDS server and the DNCS.

System operators should run the ncdsGen utility whenever they make
