6 Have you just restored the file system of an Enterprise 450, Sun Fire V880, or Sun
Fire V890 DNCS?
If yes, go to step 7; you now need to enable disk mirroring.

If no, go to step 10.
7 Type /cdrom/cdrom0/ s3/backup_restore/mirrState -a and then press Enter. The
system displays the following message:

8 Type y and then press Enter. The system enables the disk mirroring functions on
the DNCS.

9 Are you restoring the file system of an Enterprise 450 DNCS?
If yes, type /cdrom/cdrom0/s3/sai/scripts/Media/add_hotspares and then
press Enter. The system creates hot spare disks and associates them with the
metadevices.
If no, go to step 10.
10 Type eject cdrom and then press Enter. The system ejects the CD.
11 Click the right mouse button on the DNCS and select Log Out. The root user logs

12 Log on to the CDE as dncs user.

If yes, type boot and press Enter at the ok prompt on the Application Server;
then, log on to the Application Server as dncs user.
If no, go to step 14.

Restarting System Components (on page 61) to restart
Spectrum, the DNCS, and the Application Server.
