Confirming the BFS Source for Switched Digital Services
1 Facing the front of the BFS QAM modulator, press the OPTIONS button to cycle
through the QAM menu screens until you see the Session Count screen.
2 Record the number of sessions in the space provided.

3 From the DNCS Administrative Console, click the Application Interface
Modules tab, and then click BFS Admin. Depending on your system
configuration, one of the following windows opens:
a If you are using a typical DBDS with no RCS, the BFS Administration
configuration, one of the following windows opens:
a If you are using a typical DBDS with no RCS, the BFS Administration
window opens. Go to step 5.
b If you are using an RCS configuration, the Please Select a Site window opens.
Go to step 4.
4 From the File menu, choose Select. The BFS Administration window opens.
5 Click the Sources tab. The Sources section of the window appears.
