OCAP: Support for OCAP-Based Applications Increases Options for You and Your Subscribers 
SR 4.2 carries forward optional support for the OpenCable Applications Platform 
(OCAP) middleware standard. As a cable service provider, your selection of portable 
and interoperable software just became more extensive. Software suppliers are 
competing to develop the interactive television services and applications you and 
your subscribers demand. SR 4.2 adheres to OCAP standards to promote this new 
plug and play business model.
