In earlier system releases, the Revoked Host list did not effectively prohibit users
from entering a duplicate host ID as a new host ID. In some cases, the Revoked Host
list would accept the same host ID in different formats (for example, 0-010-020-030-

host IDs and prompts users to enter a different ID.

In earlier system releases, the bfsRemote process would go into recovery mode
whenever a group of QAM ports was added to or deleted from a service group, or
whenever third-party QAMs were added to the service group. While bfsRemote
was in recovery mode, subscribers would see a service group error when trying to
