Overview
Introduction
Switched Digital Video (SDV) Server release 1.4.2-13 succeeds and carries forward
all of the enhancements and features of prior SDV server releases (1.3.1, 1.3.4,
1.3.5, and 1.3.6).
Additional Features
Release 1.4.2-13 offers the following additional features:
The capability to create up to 20 unique Zones per SDV Server and to associate
individual Service Groups with these Zones.
The addition of an AutoBackup file for all Zone information.
A random backoff delay has been added to the server in the event that the
Digital Network Control System (DNCS) cannot satisfy a server's request for
bandwidth.
Syslog-like support for EventLog messages.
MCMIS 3.0 Mini-carousel support.
SDV Server default license is now 20,000 set-top boxes per server (vs. 15,000).
Configurable Netcrypt Priority.
Maximum session limit per server of 33,600 sessions.
Enhancements/Corrections
Release 1.4.2-13 includes the following enhancements/corrections:
SRM re-synchronization in the event of an edge resource failure.
The ability to automatically or manually remove a previously configured edge
resource.
