Working with JDBC Events
Adding a JDBC Event
The
JDBC Monitor
tab designates the data table
and indexes
in the JDBC database to be monitored and defines
the condition that will be considered an event. Once the designated change to the data table is detected, the event
can be linked to an action to trigger an automatic response to the change. This same tab is displayed in the

dialog for the defined event except the options are read-only to provide information about the event that
occurred.
On the
JDBC Monitor
tab, you can do the following:

Specify which database connection to monitor from the list of defined connections from the DB Connection list

Define the condition that will raise the event

In the
Event Name
field, enter a name for the event.

From the
Owner
list, select the owner of the event.
5.
From the
DB Connection
list, specify which database connection to monitor from the list of defined connections.
6.
From the
DB Event
list, select one of the following to designate as the event trigger:

Row count exceeds threshold
—
Column MAX value exceeds threshold
If selected, a
Column Name
field displays and is described in Step 9.

Column MIN value below threshold
If selected, a
Column Name
field displays as shown above.
