Configuring the VMware Adapter
Configuring the VMware Tools Service
Adding the DependOnService Key
You use the RegEdit to add or modify the
DependOnService
key to configure the service.
To add or modify the DependOnService key
1.
On the machine where VMware is installed, click
Start>Run
.
2.
On the
Run
dialog, enter
RegEdit
in the
Open
field and click
OK
.
3.
On the
Registry Editor
dialog, navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\VMTools
.
4.
Right-click
VMTools
and select
New>Multi-String Value
to add a new key named
DependOnService
, if it does
not already exist.
