On the Administrative Console, click the DNCS tab.

Click the Home Element Provisioning tab.

Click Type. The DHCT Type List window opens.

4.

Click File > New. The DHCT Type Details window opens.

5.

Use the following fields when you link devices to CVT files in the DNCS.

DHCT Type Number

The DHCT Type number of the device that you are
linking to the CVT file.

Revision

Software revision represented by the CVT files.

Org. Unit ID

The OUI portion of the device MAC address.

Type 00:02:DE.

Name

The name representing the type of device you are
linking.

Vendor

Manufacturer of this device.

Type Scientific Atlanta.

S/W Table of Contents

Table of contents (TOC) file related to the CVT file.

Click Select to browse to the correct TOC file (leave
blank if you are using bootloader).

Boot Page Name

The name of the boot page associated with this device.

Click the arrow to select the boot page from the
drop-down list (leave blank if you are using bootloader).

Click Save to close the DHCT Type Details window.

Click File > Close to close the DHCT Type List window.
