The HDMI cable that ships with the media player is compliant with HDMI version 1.4. If

you are using any other cable adapters, be sure that they support HDMI version 1.4 if

you plan to support 4K video content.

Audio cables are not generally needed. However, there are a couple of cases where

you might need to make an audio connection to the SV-4K:

If you need to support an HDMI-to-DVI connection from the SV-4K to the TV since

this supports video only.

l

If you need to connect to external audio distribution equipment when audio is to

be distributed within an area.
