Enabling Auto Registration and Auto-Provisioning 

By default, the auto-registration and auto-provisioning settings in Cisco 
StadiumVision Director are disabled. To use these features, you need to enable 
them in the Management Dashboard as follows. 

1.  Open the Management Dashboard and select Director Configuration > Auto 

Registration Settings. 

2.  In the Cisco StadiumVision Director Configuration Property panel, set the values 

to ‘true’ for Enable Auto Registration and Enable Auto Provisioning. Refer to

Configuring the DMP Firmware Version 

As part of auto-registration Cisco StadiumVision Director will upgrade a DMP that is 
not already running the desired version. The desired version must be explicitly 
configured by setting init.version and init.build in the same window where auto-
registration/provisioning was enabled in the previous section. Both init.version and 
init.build have default settings. These may or may not match the desired version for 
a given deployment, so they should be checked before DMP deployment starts so 
they can be modified if needed.  

NOTE: Due to defect CSCtz89408 in Cisco StadiumVision Director Release 2.4 and 
Release 3.0, it is necessary to set the init.build and init.version parameters for both 
the ‘4310 Settings’ and ‘4310 v5.x.x. Settings’ section to specify the production 
firmware version.
