Cisco Cisco StadiumVision Mobile Streamer Maintenance Manual

 

This chapter provides information about how to implement local TV control in a Cisco StadiumVision 
venue. 

The following should be done prior to implementing local TV control and are not discussed in this 
guide.

Keep the following in mind as you design and implement local TV control.  

•  Any designated area requiring local TV control (restaurant, club, bar, back office, locker room, 

press box) must be configured as a “Luxury Suite” within Cisco StadiumVision Director. 

•  When an  IP phone is used for as the local control device for a designated area, it is configured 

using the “IP Phone” tab of the “Luxury Suite” page.  

•  When a 3

rd

 party device is used for local control, it is configured using the “Local Control” tab of 

the “Luxury Suite” page.  

•  Cisco StadiumVision Director recognizes an IP phone by its IP address. Hence the phones IP 

address must remain the same. This means the IP address need to be statically configured, or 
the DHCP server must be configured to always hand out the same IP address to a specific 
phone MAC address. 

•  The Cisco StadiumVision service includes pre-defined softkeys. An alternative set of softkeys is
