Step 10: Examine the sv_dev_debug.log file to confirm that provisioning process is
stepping thru all the five major tasks. In the following the StageTemplate and
GlobalMIB tasks for the DMP with MAC address 00-0f-44-01-57-b7 have been
successfully completed:
[guest@svd1 logs]# pwd
/opt/sv/servers/config/logs
[guest@svd1 logs]# egrep -i 'AUTO' junk | egrep endpoint | cut -c104-299

Step 11: The /opt/sv/servers/monitor/logs/sv_dmp_syslog.log file captures all the
syslog messages sent by the DMP. The presence of even one syslog message is
evidence that the DMP has successfully received the global DMP settings, as this is
how the DMP learns the IP address of the syslog server (also Cisco StadiumVision
Director). A good check point to look for in this log is where the DMP reports that it
is loading the Cisco.InitTV app. This is the swf file that displays the auto-registration
status banner on the TV:
[guest@svd1 logs]# pwd
/opt/sv/servers/monitor/logs
[guest@svd1 logs]# grep InitTV sv_dmp_syslog.log

DMP POE Issue
With early versions of the DMP 4310G, there is an issue with the negotiation of the
correct PoE wattage. The root cause is believed to be that the switch and the DMP-
4310 fail to consistently negotiate the correct power class during the (optional)
