Overview
Purpose
The purpose of this document is to inform Prisma II
 High Density Transmitter
(HDTx) users of a possible issue that receiver RF output level  increases about 3~5
dB when the automatic gain control (AGC) is turned from OFF to ON.
Audience
This document is written for system engineers and managers, who are responsible
for operating and/or maintaining the Prisma II equipment.
Situation
We have received customer comments regarding issues that receiver RF output
level may increase 3~5 dB when the AGC feature of the HDTx is turned from OFF
to ON. An analysis was conducted by us. This analysis indicated that the problem
is associated with 3 dB offset in RF AGC set point between CW ON and OFF
mode in the unit.

Customer Exposure
A few customers may experience this kind of issue if they have HDTxs
manufactured in or before January 2006 (A06) and with serial number beginning
with “MM”.
