This document describes how to recover missing data from reports in the Historical Data Server
(HDS).

The information in this document is based on the HDS component in UCCE solution.
The information in this document was created from the devices in a specific lab environment. All of
the devices used in this document started with a cleared (default) configuration. If your network is
live, make sure that you understand the potential impact of any command.
Problem
If services are stopped on a logger due to a network or service outage, data can be left out on the
reports. The HDS that has missing data needs to be recovered from its peer HDS. The HDS is
then reconfigured in order to pull back the newer data from the logger.
Solution
In this example, services were stopped on Logger A due a network outage. Logger A feeds report
data to HDS A and therefore data is missing from HDS A. This outage only affects Logger A so
Logger B and HDS B are still intact.
Complete these steps in order to resync HDS B to HDS A
