During Unified ICM setup, the peripheral ID is required to setup a PG. The ID Finder tool
enables you to access the peripheral IDs.
The Unified ICM logs usually list the component IDs. During troubleshooting, the ID Finder
tool can be used to look for the object names by component IDs.
In Unified SCCE, you do not see the component IDs. The ID Finder tool helps you to get
the component IDs whenever necessary.
How to Access the ID Finder Tool
The ID Finder tool is available as an executable file, idfinder.exe, starting in Unified ICM
Release 4.6(2).
You can access this tool from all Unified ICM Administration & Data Servers from the following
path: icm\bin\idfinder.exe.
Starting in Release 7.1(1), the ID Finder tool is enhanced to provide the Unified ICM application
path of the component ID.
