Control window to run the programs.
Event Management. Familiarize yourself with the Unified ICM’s event management system.
The system software provides several tools for reviewing event data in the system. Event
data can aid you in identifying potential system performance problems.
Partitioning. Unified ICM partitioning provides a mechanism for controlling what data
individuals are allowed to access within an Unified ICM database.
Note:
• Partitioning on new installations is no longer supported and is no longer provided as
a checkbox option from the Web Setup windows; that is, you cannot create new
partitioning on a server. Although the partitioning checkbox has been removed,
upgrading to 8.0(1) does not automatically remove partitioning on an existing system.

The Administration & Data Server
The Administration & Data Server provides tools and resources for supervisors, system
administrators, and system managers.
You can use these resources to:
Initialize and update configuration information
Write and update routing scripts and administrative scripts
Monitor the execution of scripts
You can also monitor the performance of skill groups, services, routes, and trunks through the
Administration & Data Server.

).
Note: The Administration Tools are only included in this folder if an Administration & Data
Server is set up on the machine.
