Creating the Database Profile in InfoMaker
Follow these steps to create a Database Profile in InfoMaker:
Step 1
Select Programs > Sybase > InfoMaker 10.0 > InfoMaker to launch InfoMaker.
Step 2
Select Tools > Database Profile... , or click DB Prof on the toolbar.
Step 3
From the Database Profile dialog box, highlight ODB ODBC and click New...
Step 4
At the Database Profile Setup - ODBC screen, on the Connection tab:

Enter a Profile Name of your choice.

At the Data Source drop-down list, select the data source name that you
defined in the ODBC Data Source Administrator.

Click the Options tab.

If your login account on the machine where InfoMaker is installed has
permission on the database, check Integrated Security. Then click Apply.

If you are given a username and password for SQL and use SQL

Step 6
Click OK and then Close to exit the InfoMaker Database Profile screen.
A green checkmark next to the Database Name indicates a successful connection.
