New Enhanced Data Migration Tool (EDMT)
New Enhanced Data Migration Tool (EDMT)
Cisco has issued a new version of EDMT to address defects found in the EDMT software. These defects
affect upgrading to the following products:
  •
IPCC Enterprise & Hosted Editions 7.0(0)
  •
ICM Enterprise & Hosted Editions 7.0(0)
About the New EDMT
The Enhanced Database Migration Tool (EDMT) for ICM/IPCC 7.0 is no longer available as a CD. It
must be downloaded from
Any references to the EDMT CD in the Upgrade Guide for Cisco ICM/IPCC Enterprise & Hosted
Editions: Release 7.0(0)
should be read with this in mind.
The defects resolved by the new version of EDMT 7.0(0) are relevant only at upgrade time. There is no
need to immediately install the new version of EDMT if you are already successfully running Release
7.0. However, in all cases (affected or not) you should replace your existing EDMT software with the
new EDMT software; this will help to prevent problems when EDMT is used for future ICM upgrades
or modifications to your installation.
