How to Design the Layout for a Tabular Template
Bands
The Design pane is divided into four bands.
  •
The Header band displays information at the top of every screen and page, such as the title of the 
report and the column names. It also prints on every page.
Note
The Header band is locked in WebView. It does not scroll with the page. Because it does not 
scroll, make sure that the background of the Header band is Button Face, as indicated in the 
Template Guidelines on  page 5-2, and not transparent so that people do not see overlapping text 
when they scroll.

The Detail band displays data from the database as well as computed values based on data from the 
database.
  •
The Summary band displays information that appears beneath the data, such as totals and counts, 
averages, and maximums.
  •
The Footer band displays information that appears at the bottom of the page.
