Installation and Configuration Checklist

This section lists the installation and configuration tasks for deploying IPCC Gateway with
IPCC Express.

Note: For high availability in an IPCC Express Gateway deployment, you must install IPCC
Express and the IPCC Express Gateway PG on two nodes of CRS (master and standby).

Installation and Configuration Checklist

You must install CallManager on a different machine
than IPCC Express.

1. Install the CallManager
software.

After installing CallManager, configure a CRS
administrator. Make note of the username and
password as well as the IP address of the machine on
which CallManager is running.

Express packages (Standard, Enhanced, and Premium)
work with the IPCC Gateway.

You will notice that when you configure route points
and ports on CRS, they are also configured in
CallManager.

3. Configure the
CallManager and IPCC
Express software.

Some autoconfiguration happens between IPCC
Express and ICM software. See the section
"Autoconfiguration Between IPCC Express and ICM"
for details.

You will need the IP addresses for CallManager and
CRS during the installation process.

After installing and configuring CAD, you can test the
child system to be sure all is working as expected.

4. Install and configure the
Cisco Agent and
Supervisor Desktops.

Note that you can only connect one ICM instance for
IPCC Express Gateway.

5. Install the Cisco ICM
Enterprise parent system,
if the ICM software is not
already installed.

Use the ICM Configuration Manager on the Admin
Workstation to access the PG Explorer to complete
this task.

6. Configure the IPCC
Express Gateway PG in
the ICM software.
