Optoma Short Throw Lens (BX-AS108)
Your solution to creating larger images in tighter spaces
Video and Data projectors provide a limited “throw distance” which is the maximum distance the
projector can “throw” or project the image to the screen.  Generally speaking, between the original
projector lens and the screen, the throw distance is one foot of screen per every two feet of space.
Many times, users are trying to achieve larger images within an area limited in space.  The perfect
solution is to use a Short Throw Lens.
How the Short Throw Lens Works
The BX-AS108 helps to create images up to 20% larger with less distance between the projector and
the screen without it being a physical obstacle in the room.  The BX-AS108 is easily attachable to the
existing projector lens.
