Sourcefire 3D System Release Notes

Known Issues
In some cases, the system may log you out of the web interface after the
session timeout threshold expires if you open different tabs on the Object
Manager page (Objects > Object Management) without saving an object,
refreshing, or redirecting the page. (CSCut29803)
In some cases, if your Defense Center's database experiences system
issues, you may be missing your access control policy or your access
control policy may be missing rules. If you experience missing rules in your
access control policy, contact support. (CSCut30047)
In some cases, restoring a backup fails and the system generates a system
log error message. (CSCut34456)
In some cases, if you copy the Top Intrusion Events table from a recently
created report, the Fields row of the generated table is blank. As a
workaround, manually populate data for the Fields row of the copied table.
(CSCuu01020)
The File Trajectory page (Analysis > Files > Network File Trajectory) displays the
first and last host icons of a host with an Indication of compromise as a blue
icon instead of a red icon. (CSCuu17950)
The system displays the incorrect amount of memory usage on the
Memory page (Overview > Dashboards > Summary Dashboard > Status >
System load > Memory). As a workaround, view the correct memory usage
via the Memory Test option in the Memory Usage page (Health > Health
Monitor). (CSCuu19742)
The system does not generate a description as to why an access control
policy may be marked as out-of-date. (CSCuu29414)
If you register a stack of devices running Version 5.3 to a Defense Center
running Version 5.3.1.4 and attempt to update the stack, at least one of the
devices in the stack may fail updating. As a workaround, break up the stack
and update the devices individually, then recreate the stack. (CSCuu66152)
Known Issues Reported in Previous Releases
The following is a list of known issues that were reported in previous releases of
the Sourcefire 3D System:
In some cases, applying changes to your access control policy, intrusion
policy, network discovery policy, or device configuration, or installing an
intrusion rule update or update of the vulnerability database (VDB), causes
the system to experience a disruption in traffic that uses Link Aggregation
Control Protocol (LACP) in fast mode. As a workaround, configure LACP
links in slow mode. (112070/CSCze87966)
In some cases, the system includes extraneous data about dropped packets
in intrusion event performance graphs. (124934/CSCze87728)
