4 Preparation at the touch of a button

Preparation stops automatically when the pre-set amount of

steam is reached.

The milk foam preparation can be interrupted at any time. To

do this, press the Rotary Switch or the maintenance button or

touch the Start symbol.

You can prepare more milk foam or heat the milk within about

40 seconds without having to wait for the machine to heat.

To make sure the cappuccino frother always works properly, rinse

and clean it regularly (see Chapter 6, ‘Maintenance – Cappuccino

frother’).

Remove the protective cover from the frother.

Attach the milk pipe to the frother.

Insert the other end of the milk pipe into a milk carton or

connect it to a milk container.

Place a cup under the frother.

n T Touch the Steam symbol.

HEATING

As soon as the machine has heated up,

READY

appears.

n T Touch the Steam symbol again.

STEAM

, the milk foam is prepared. You can follow the cur-

rent status of preparation on the progress bar.
