Restore the ICM 4.6.2 or ICM 5.0(0) AW database (awdb) to the new system
using the MS SQL backup/restore process.

Create the HDS, AW and WebView databases.

Open MS SQL Enterprise Manager on the new system.

Expand Microsoft SQL Servers and SQL Server Group.

Expand your current server name.

Highlight Databases.

Right-click and select New Database.

Enter the new database name and set the initial database size in MB.

The size depends upon the size of the existing database on the old

Click the Transaction Log tab and enter the initial log size in MB.

Restore the MS SQL Server backup onto the new HDS using the MS SQL
backup/restore process.

Export the appropriate ICM file/folders tree from the production HDS.

Export the ICM 4.6.2 or ICM 5.0(0) registry key tree from the production HDS.
Step 12
Import the ICM 4.6.2 or ICM 5.0(0) registry key tree onto the new HDS.
Step 13
Run ICM setup.exe on the new HDS (from the media, not from local setup).

Edit the Instance and HDS/AW components, making any necessary changes
based on the new environment.
