ICM 4.6.2 to ICM 5.0 Upgrade 
Introduction
This section describes the proper procedures for upgrading Cisco Intelligent 
Contact Management (ICM) 4.6.2 systems to ICM 5.0.
The upgrade process may be accomplished using one of two possible methods:

The Common Ground Upgrade Migration method involves upgrading on 
your existing hardware.
th
The Technology Refresh Upgrade Migration method involves moving 
specified data from your existing ICM production system to new ICM 
software BOM compliant hardware.
This method is based on the following:
the new hardware is Cisco ICM Bill of Material (BOM) compliant

the new hardware has MS Windows 2000 SP3 and either MS SQL 7.0 
SP3/4 or MS SQL 2000 SP2 installed; and is an Active Directory 
environment.

CTI desktop/client
