Select the Options tab and set the options as follows:
ANSI NULL default: No
Recursive triggers: No
Auto update statistics: Yes
Torn page detection: Yes
Auto close: No
Auto shrink: No
Auto create statistics: Yes
Use quoted identifier: No
All other parameters should be left as default
Step 3
If changes are needed, the MSSQLSERVER Service may need to be cycled.
Step 4
Close SQL Enterprise Manager.
Step 5
Run ICM setup.
a.
In a command window type: c:\icr\bin and press Enter.
b.
Type setup.
c.
Select the ICM component (logger or Admin Workstation) being upgraded.
d.
Click Edit.
e.
Click OK to proceed through the setup utility.
f.
Click Next in each window and complete setup without making any changes.
g.
Click Finish and exit the ICM setup program.
Step 6
Start the upgraded machine.
Step 7
Verify there are no errors in ICM processes or SQL error log.
