Installing MS SQL Server 2000
Installing SQL Server service packs
SQL Server service packs can be obtained by accessing the Microsoft web site.
How to install SQL Server service packs
Step 1
Download the appropriate SQL Server service pack. (SQL Server 2000 SP2 in this 
case.)
Step 2
Following the instructions provided with the service pack, install it.
Creating ICM Databases
How to create ICM databases
Step 1
When SQL Server setup and service pack installation is complete, reboot the 
server.
Step 2
Install the applicable ICM component(s) (Logger, RTD, AW, HDS, etc.) and hot 
fixes.
a.
Refer to the applicable node forms, checklists, and technical documentation 
for installing ICM software.
Step 3
Verify that SQL Server is running.
Step 4
Select Start > Run > icmdba. Use ICMDBA to create the appropriate database(s).

You may be prompted that the following items need to be changed:
Set the TempDB Size to at least 50 MB, then click OK.
Set the TempDB Log to at least 20 MB, then click OK.

If the local server is not listed, create it by selecting File > Add Server
b.
Enter the local server name.
c.
Drill down to the server you are working on.
