( 6 ) Lighting / °C↔°F (3 sec)

The Lighting button serves two purposes:

 

- To turn the dispenser light on and off

 

- To switch the temperature units 

between ºC and ºF.

1.  Light Function 

Touching the Lighting button turns on the 

Dispenser LED lamp in continuous mode 

so that it stays on continuously. 

The button also lights up. 

If you want the Dispenser lamp to come on 

only when some one uses the dispenser, 

press the Lighting button to turn the 

continuous mode off.
2.  To switch the temperature units 

between ºC and ºF.

Touch and hold this button for 3 seconds 

to select the temperature display you want. 

Each time you press and hold the button, 

the ºC and ºF temperature modes alternate 

and the ºC or ºF icon lights up, indicating 

your selection.

The Vacation button can be used to 

activate/deactivate Vacation mode. 

If you are going on vacation or a business 

trip, or if you do not intend to use the 

refrigerator for an extended time, use the 

Vacation feature. 

Press and hold Vacation for 3 seconds 

to turn off the fridge operation with the 
Vacation indicator (   ) on

It is strongly recommended to empty the 

fridge compartment and make sure the 

door is closed.

This icon lights when you need to change 

the filter, usually after the refrigerator has 

dispensed about 300 gallons of water (after 

about 6 months).
The icon will blink red for several seconds 

when you open or close the door.
After you install the new water filter, reset 

the filter indicator by touching and holding 

Filter Reset button for 3 seconds.
When you reset the filter indicator, the filter 

lifecycle will be reset and the filter indicator 

turns off.

Cubed Ice
You can select an ice type.  

Press Cubed Ice to dispense cubed ice. 

The corresponding indicator turns on.

Filter Reset
After about 6 months (approximately 300 

gallons) of using the original water filter, 

the Filter indicator turns red to remind you 

that the filter needs to be replaced. If this 

happens, replace the filter, and press and 

hold Filter Reset for 3 seconds.

Some regional areas have relatively large 

amounts of lime contained in the water. 

This may reduce the lifecycle of the filter. 

In these areas, you will have to replace 

the water filter more often than specified 

above.

Crushed Ice
You can select an ice type.  

Press Crushed Ice to dispense crushed 

Ice. The corresponding indicator turns on.

Ice Maker Off
To disable ice making, press and hold for 

3 seconds. In this mode, ice making is 

disabled even if you press the button. 

Note that Ice Maker Off mode will be 

deactivated if you press and hold the ice 

lever for more than 5 seconds.
