Camcorder Settings 
Before you start taking videos, use the camcorder settings to 
configure the camcorder for best results. Camcorder settings 
are represented by icons on the left side of the screen. 
Editing Camcorder Settings Shortcuts 
As with the camera, the first five icons are actually shortcuts 
to camcorder settings. These five shortcuts can be 
customized to fit your preference. 
Configuring Camcorder Settings 
To configure Camcorder settings: 
1.  From the Home screen, touch 
Camera
2.   Slide the 
 Mode button to the 
Camcorder 
setting. 
3.   While in Camcorder mode, touch a settings shortcut or 
touch 
Settings to configure the following  settings: 
• Edit shortcuts: Customize your settings shortcuts. For 
• GPS tag: Turn GPS On or Off. For more information, 
• Self-recording: Set the front camera so you can take 
videos of yourself or video chat. 
• Flash: Set the flash options to Off or On. When you set 
the flash to On, it stays on continually while you are 
taking a video. 
• Recording mode: Set the recording mode to: Normal, 
which is limited only by available space on the 
destination location; Limit for MMS, which is limited by 
MMS size restrictions; Slow motion, which records in 
slow motion; and Fast motion, which records in fast 
motion. 
• Effects: Apply an effect to videos. 
• Exposure  value: Adjust the brightness level by moving 
the slider. 
• Timer: Set a timer for how long to wait before taking a 
video.
