Define the password policies
The Breeze administrator uses the Policy Setting screen to define the password setup policy for the
synchronization. Passwords are pieces of user data that are dealt with separately from the other
data in an external directory. Passwords are rarely available in clear text form, if they are available
at all. A synchronization cannot copy a password into Breeze from another source. There are two
approaches to handling user authentication in Breeze:
