Creating bootable diskettes for Acronis Disk Director Suite
There are two versions of 1.4 MB bootable diskettes that can be created:
• Full version – includes support of USB, PC Card and SCSI interfaces along

• Safe version – doesn’t include USB, PC Card, or SCSI drivers. Recommended
for use in case of problems with running Full version
You will need four 1.4 MB diskettes for the Full version and two diskettes for the

Creating bootable diskettes for Acronis OS Selector
There are also two bootable diskette versions that can be created for Acronis OS
Selector:
• If you need to create bootable media with the Acronis OS Selector installer,

• In some situations, you will only need to re-activate the Acronis OS Selector
boot menu. For example, when installing the Windows operating system that
overwrites the hard disk Master Boot Record and thus prevents invoking
Acronis OS Selector at bootup. To solve this problem, just re-activate Acronis
OS Selector using a bootable diskette created by selecting Acronis OS
Selector Activator.
