User Guide
Note: To edit the table, you need to select the table or one of its slices.
To select a table (ImageReady)
You can select tables in the document window or the Web Content palette.
In a document, use the Slice Select tool to select the table icon
 in a slice.
In the Web Content palette, select the table directly by clicking its name.
In a document, select a slice with the Slice Select tool.
Note: To select the outermost table in a document, you must use the Slice Select tool.
To resize a table (ImageReady)
You can resize a table by grabbing the side or corner handles or by adjusting its dimensions.
Select a table.
Do one of the following:
In the document window, grab a side or corner handle and drag to resize the table.
In the Dimensions options area of the Table palette, select Pixels and enter the dimensions in pixels (the default
method). Press Enter (Windows) or Return (Mac OS). If you enter a width, the height changes automatically, and
vice versa.
In the Dimensions options area of the Table palette, select Percentage and specify a percentage. Press Enter
(Windows) or Return (Mac OS). If you specify the width or height as a percentage, the dimensions of the exported
table are adjusted dynamically, to accommodate the browser window in which it is displayed.
Choose Slices > Resize Table To Slices. If your table is larger than the slices, this command shrinks the table to fit
the slices. If the slice area is larger than the table, the table expands to reveal all of the child slices.
To set table export options (ImageReady)
When exporting slices for use on the web, Photoshop and ImageReady can optionally export an HTML file with
instructions on displaying the slices properly in a browser. By default, this exported HTML file uses tables to ensure
that the sliced composition retains its original appearance. The Table palette in ImageReady provides an additional
level of control over how this formatting table is exported.
Note: Changes you make to the structure of an exported HTML file are reflected solely in the browser image, not in the
image in your work area.

Choose Window > Table.
Select the table for which you want to set options. By default, the selected table is the top-level table encompassing
the entire composition area.
Enter a name for the table in the ID input box of the Table palette. Specifying a name for an exported table
increases conformity with web-accessibility standards.
From the Auto Slicing menu, choose a formatting preference:
