TMC Operation
About the TMC indicator
This indicator displays the reception status.

Setting the RDS-TMC
Press the MENU button to display
the main menu. Select “RDS-TMC”
from the main menu by tilting the
joystick and press ENTER.
RDS-TMC setting screen is
displayed. Select each item with the
joystick, and press ENTER to
execute the setting.
Country
Use this to set the country.
“Auto”:
The country is automatically set.
“Manual”:
You can select a country from the country list.
Station
You can select the station from which you
receive information.
“Auto”:
You can receive the information automatically
from a station.
“Manual”:
Select a desired broadcasting station (A list of
stations from which you can receive
information is displayed.)
Dynamic nav.
This sets if you seek for dynamic route
(seek for evasion route) or not.
Dynamic Route Seek (Seek for
Evasion Route)
If you set the “Dynamic nav.” ON, the route,
you can seek for a route in consideration of
the traffic event given through the RDS-
TMC in the initial route seeking. If a new
evasion route is found, the confirmation
dialogue screen appears. If you select
“Yes” by tilting the joystick and press
ENTER, you can find a new route,
considering the traffic event.
Note:
If “Dynamic nav.” is set to ON, the event
evasion route automatically searches a fixed
distance. This can also be searched
manually.
