Adjusting the volume level for
the navigation system
You can adjust the volume level of the beep
sound that is produced when the remote control is
operated and the volume level of the voice guide.
Press the MENU button to display
the main menu. Select “Volume”
from the main menu by tilting the
joystick and press ENTER.
When the settings have been
completed, select “OK” by tilting the
joystick and press ENTER.
The volume adjustment screen
appears. You can adjust the volume
level in seven steps from 1 to 7.
Select the desired level by tilting the
joystick and press ENTER.
Notes:
• When you want to turn off the sound of the
navigation system, select “Off” and press
ENTER.
• You can temporarily turn up the volume for
voice guidance while driving on a motorway
by activating (ticking) “Automatic volume
level control”. Tilt the joystick to select
“Automatic volume level control” and press
ENTER.

Drive simulation
To check the searched route, you can carry out a
drive simulation. The icon for the current vehicle
position moves along the searched route
indicating the contents of guidance that will be
provided.
When the calculation of the route
has been completed, the display
shows the entire route on the map
and the point setting menu. For
details, see the searching for a route
on page 16.
Select “Guide” from the point
setting menu by tilting the joystick,
then press and hold ENTER for at
least 5 seconds.
The drive simulation starts.
To stop the drive simulation, press
the RETURN button. The display
returns to the current vehicle
position screen.
